Governor Heineman and Chief Justice Mike Heavican attend Ground Breaking Ceremony for Custer County Judicial Center
A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the new Custer County Judicial Center.
Governor Dave Heineman and Chief Justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court, Mike Heavican was also in attendance. Governor Heineman said “it is really a special honor and privilege to be here today. I have been out here so many times and every time I am out here it is for something good is happening. It is because all of you and the commitment you have to Broken Bow and Custer County to continue to grow this community and to make it attractive for Economic Development and for the kids to come back home. My hat is off to all of you and I am very proud of you.” Governor Heineman said that since Monday was Memorial Day he wanted us all to remember to thank those who have served and are currently serving our country.
Chief Justice Heavican thanked everyone involved for their support of this project including Jerry Adams who spearheaded the project. Heavican said the Judicial Center would not have been possible without the support of all of the various entities and individuals involved.
