Town Hall Meetings on SourceGas Rate Increase

SourceGas is requesting an increase in its customer service and distribution charges, which include costs of operating and maintaining the natural gas system. The affected rates do not include the cost of gas, which is a separate, unregulated charge. The Public Service Commission announced that it will hold town hall meetings at locations in SourceGas' service territory during mid-February where customers will learn more about the company's proposal and express their views. The meeting locations and times are as follows: Monday February 13th, 11:00 am at Plainview High School in Plainview; Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00 pm at the Gering Civic Center in Gering; Thursday, February 16th at 2:00 pm at the McCook Heritage Senior Center in McCook and 7:00 pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club in Holdrege; and Friday February 17th at 10:00 am at Babel's Barn in Wood River.
