Petition Kick Off Monday on the Get Up and Go Breakfast Show
For years there have been many discussions about the traffic on West Highway 2 in Broken Bow. There have been numerous speed studies done in past years and according to the Nebraska Department of Roads, no changes have been warranted to date. There have been 27 accidents in the last 10 years from the city limits of Broken Bow to mile marker 276 just past Grassland. The expansion of businesses on the west edge of Broken Bow is a wonderful addition to the community, however this also means heavier traffic and different traffic flow. Because of these concerns we are asking everyone to join us in an effort to reduce the speed limit from Grassland to the city limits. The goal of this petition is to be proactive and make changes before accidents occur. Tune in the Get Up and Go Breakfast Show on Monday for details about participation in this important effort.
