Broken Bow hosts Lexington in re-scheduled doubleheader

Tonight, the Broken Bow Indians host a re-scheduled doubleheader with Lexington. In the girls’ game, the Lady Indians look to bounce back after their early exit in the Southwest Conference Tournament last week to Valentine. They face a Lexington team that has won four straight games winning by an average of 16 points per game in that winning streak. The Lady Indians have played more competitive basketball as of late but have played a brutally tough schedule.

In the boys’ game tonight Lexington seeks their first win of the season as they meet the Indians. For Lexington, it’s been a season of re-building and they have had a tough time competing against what has been a difficult schedule. The Indians have also had a tough schedule. They played very well last week in Gothenburg but lost 35-31 in the opening round of the Southwest Conference Tournament. It’s been eight days since Broken Bow’s last game, so they’ll have to shake off any rust to get the win tonight.

Other doubleheaders this evening include Brady visiting Wallace, Cedar Valley at St. Edward, Kearney is at Hastings, Paxton visits North Platte St. Patrick’s and Ainsworth hosts Winner, SD.
