Girls subdistrict seedings announced
The NSAA have announced the girls’ basketball subdistrict seedings.
All seedings were announced on Thursday morning. Bunny bracket games will start Monday, February 13. Semifinals will be played on Tuesday, February 14 with all championship games being played Thursday, February 16.
The class C1-10 subdistrict tournament will be held at Rock County High School in Bassett. The first round will begin on Tuesday. In the first game #4 Broken Bow will take on #1 Valentine at 6 p.m. #3 Ainsworth will play #2 O’Neill at 7:45 p.m. The winners will play for the championship on Thursday at 7 p.m.
The class D1-11 subdistrict tournament will be held at Broken Bow High School. Monday’s first game features #4 Loup City against #5 South Loup at 7 p.m. The winner meets #1 Sandhills/Thedford on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The other semifinal game on Tuesday will feature #2 Twin Loup against #3 Stapleton/McPherson County at 7:45 p.m. The championship game will be Thursday at 7 p.m.
The class D2-9 subdistrict tournament will be held at Cozad High School. In Monday’s opening game #4 Sumner-Eddyville-Miller will play #5 Anselmo-Merna at 7 p.m. The winner will play #1 seed Brady on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The other Tuesday game will pit Ansley against Eustis-Farnam with a 7:45 p.m. tip-off. The championship game will be Thursday at 7 p.m.
In class D2-8 at Kearney Catholic High School, #4 Bertrand plays #5 Pleasanton Monday night at 7 p.m. The winner will play #1 seed Loomis Tuesday at 6 p.m. In the late game Tuesday night #2 Litchfield meets #3 Arcadia at 7:45 p.m. The championship game will be played Thursday at 7 p.m.
