Sports Interviews on KCNI/KBBN this Week

Tune in to KCNI/KBBN this week for some exciting sports interviews. Coming up on Monday, Brandon Peoples sits down with Broken Bow Spirit Head Coach Tara Russell to review the successful season and look ahead to the league tournament which starts July 6 and runs through July 8 in Ord. On Tuesday, we'll hear from Lisa Burke, Executive Director of North Platte/Lincoln County Convention and Visitors Bureau. North Platte will be hosting the Amateur Softball Association 16U Tournament July 30 to August 5 and they are in need of volunteers. On Thursday, we'll hear from Husker Track and Cross Country Star and Broken Bow alum Katie White to discuss all her accomplishments from the past year and look ahead to what's in store for Katie going forward. Then on Friday we get to talk a little college rugby with Wayne State Rugby coach Darrin Barner. Barner's team played a spring doubleheader against Chadron State at Mark Russell Field and he might just be the most passionate rugby fan around. We'll preview the upcoming season and talk a little about the team going international in 2013. Be sure to check out all the exciting interviews this week during the 5:00 p.m. sports each day on KCNI and KBBN. We also have baseball on KBBN Monday night as the Broken Bow Seniors host Greeley at 8 p.m. Tom Hilkemeier and Larry Cotnoir will provide play-by-play.
