Shopko Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting
Shopko Hometown held its official Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting January 10th in Broken Bow. Shopko offered free $10 gift cards to the first 100 people through the doors and they were lined up before the store opened at 9:00. Store manager Bob Davis said he feels this is a very positive thing for the community because of their expanded product line and the always present customer service. Davis also said they have added 7 new staff members because of the added work load with the switch from Pamida to Shopko. Davis presented a check to Broken Bow High School Principal Ken Kujath to be used for the high school. The hours for the new store are; Sundays 9:00 am until 6:00 pm and Monday through Friday 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. Pharmacy hours are; Monday through Friday 9:00 am until 6:30 pm, Saturdays 9:00 am until 1:00 pm and closed on Sundays.
