Custer County Court Recap - September 30

Custer County Court was held September 30 with Judge Tami Schendt presiding.  Zachary J. Briggs 27 of Broken Bow was arraigned on three counts; Distribution of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana a Class III Felony; Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine a Class IV Felony; and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Steroids a Class IV Felony.  Briggs waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over the District Court. 

Craig Bristol 27 of Broken Bow was arraigned on a Burglary Charge and the Judge changed his bond to a PR bond and ordered Bristol to Inpatient Rehabilitation within 10 days. 

Michael Minton was arraigned for Burglary a Class III Felony and Felon in possession of a deadly weapon and terroristic threats a Class III Felony.  Minton’s case was bound over to District Court.  Ryan W. Hock was charged with Tampering with a witness, a Class IV Felony and his preliminary hearing will be November 4. 

Nicholas Fuchs 36 of Broken Bow was arraigned for Intention to Distribute a Controlled substance – Marijuana.  His preliminary hearing will be October 28. 

Gary J. Gottschalk 52 of Broken Bow appeared on charges of Tampering with a Witness a Class I Felony and Terroristic Threats, a Class IV Felony.  His preliminary hearing will be October 22.
