Custer County Court Monday, March 20, 2017

Skyler J. Linn, 25 of Broken Bow, appeared for an Entry of Plea hearing and pled not guilty for an alleged third degree domestic assault. Linn’s next appearance is scheduled for May 1 at 1pm.

Cole M. Arnold, 32 of Merna, appeared for a preliminary hearing for a felony charge but his attorney David W. Jorgensen is in the process of amending the case to a misdemeanor and a pre-trial hearing was rescheduled to May 1 at 3pm.

Amber D. Eberle of Ansley appeared in court for two misdemeanor counts. Count one of allegedly endangering a child, a Class I misdemeanor child abuse and count 2 for an alleged third degree domestic assault. Eberle pled not guilty and is currently undergoing counseling to potentially dismiss the case. Attorney David W. Jorgensen requested a court date of May 1 if the case does not get dismissed.

The last case of the morning was for Nicholas E. Harrison, 49 of Sumner. He pled no contest for a Class W Misdemeanor, his third offense of driving under the influence. He will reappear in court on May 1.

Blake W. Judd, 20 of Broken Bow, appeared in county court this afternoon for alleged burglary and mischief, and theft-a Class 4 felony. Judd waived his rights to preliminary hearings for three cases and will appear in District Court for arraignment on Thursday, March 23 at 9:30am.

Guy A. Holloway, 47 of Broken Bow, appeared for a preliminary hearing but the case has been continued and he will appear back in court on May 22 at 2pm.

Gene K. Wood, 65 of Mason City, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and will appear for arraignment in District Court on Thursday, March 23 at 9:30am.
