Dennis and Betty Eckhardt of Ayr, NE and Robbi and Shelley Smith of Arnold, NE and Wade and Patty Preston of Waukee, IA are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Michelle Lee Eckhardt and Jeffrey Aaron Preston.  The couple is planning a August 1st wedding at Melham Memorial Park in Broken Bow, NE.  The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Blue Hill High School and a 2007 graduate of Wayne State College.  She is currently employed with Dana F. Cole & Co., LLP in Broken Bow.  The groom is a 2004 graduate of Arnold High School and attended Wayne State College.  He is currently employed with Direct TV in North Platte.  Grandparents are Tacy Krull of Hastings, NE; Wayne and Mick Preston of Arnold, NE; KC and Marita Gottschalk of Broken Bow, NE; Bobbie Smith of Arnold, NE and Gertrude Mogensen of Broken Bow, NE.
