Jamie Lange & Josh Christen would like to announce their upcoming May wedding, at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Grand Island. Jamie is the daughter of Coleen Lange and the late Charles Lange. Jamie is a 2004 graduate of Central Catholic High School and is currently employed by the VA Home in Grand Island. Josh is the son of Thomas and Janie Christen of Anselmo. Josh is a 2001 graduate of Anselmo-Merna High School, he is currently attending Central Community College of Hastings, and is employed by Middleton Electric.

Francis Lee & Nancy Hircock of Ansley are pleased to announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Sally Lynne Hircock of Kearney to Roger Allen Schuett of Chapman. Mr. Schuett is the son of Herman & Ilene Schuett of Chapman. The future bride is the granddaughter of Willard and Lorraine Still of Broken Bow and the late Francis and Peggy Hircock of Merna. Mr. Schuett is the grandson of the late Herman and Ellen Holtzen of Aurora and the late Henry and Bertha Schuett of Chapman. Miss Hircock is a graduate of Ansley High School. Sally received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with chemistry and biology minors from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a Grain Merchandiser for DeBruce Grain. Sally is also a strategic planner/grant writer for her own business, PrairieLand Consulting. The prospective groom graduated from Central City High School. Roger is engaged in farming and ranching as the owner/operator of Schuett Farms. Wedding vows will be exchanged in an evening ceremony May 24, 2008 at the Faith United Methodist Church in Gibbon. A dinner reception and dance celebration will follow at the Gibbon American Legion Club.

Jeremiah Littlejohn and Beki Leak of Broken Bow are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the bride-to-be are Rod and Kathy Leak of Broken Bow. Parents of the future groom are Carol Littlejohn of Broken Bow and Ron Littlejohn of Kearney. Beki is a full time student at the
University of Nebraska at Kearney studying Early Childhood Unified and Elementary Education. She is currently employed at Bryant Elementary in Kearney and the Grocery Kart in Broken Bow. Jeremiah is currently employed by Sargent Pipe Co. in Broken Bow. Both graduated from Broken Bow High School—Jeremiah in 2005, and Beki in 2006. The wedding will be held on June 14 at the United Methodist Church in Broken Bow.

Brittany Clay, daughter of Gary and Lois Clay of Broken Bow, and Daniel McDermott, son of Brad and Joann McDermott of Merna would like to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding, June 7 at the Ansley First Baptist Church. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Clyde and Pearl Loy of Broken Bow and Joy Noel of Springfield, Mo. She is a 2004 graduate of Broken Bow High School and will graduate in May from Chadron State College with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences: Design and Merchandising. The future groom is the grandson of Bonnie and John Fankhauser of North Platte. He graduated from Anselmo Merna High School in 2004 and will graduate from Chadron State College in May with a degree in Human Biology. After a short honeymoon the couple will be relocating to Iowa City where the future groom will be working towards his masters degree.

Katrina Trimble and J.D. White would like to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Katrina is the daughter of Bryan and Cynthia Trimble of Ogallala and granddaughter of LaVern and Leona Duryea of Mason City, Marilyn Trimble and Wayne Trimble of Kearney. J.D. White is the son of Don and June White of Berwyn and grandson of Duane and Helen White of Bayard. They are planning a June 28, 2008 wedding in Estes Park, Colorado. A wedding reception will be held in Broken Bow July 12, 2008 at the Broken Bow Municipal Building. The future bride graduated from UNL in 2002 and then received her Master of Physician Assistant studies. Katrina is currently employed at Broken Bow Clinic. The groom graduated from UNK with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2003. J.D. is currently a production facilitator with BD Broken Bow.

Kara McFarlane & Nathan Clark would like to annouce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Kara is the daughter of Steven & Valerie McFarlane of Norfolk & granddaughter of Warren & the late Delores Millikan along with Marie & the late Louis (Bud) McFarlane all of Bloomfield. Nathan is the son of Carla & Monte (Bud) Clark of Broken Bow & grandson of Don & Shirley Jones, & the late Marge Jones of Ansley along with Audrey & the late Alton (Bud) Clark of Broken Bow. They are planning a June 7, 2008 wedding in Norfolk. The future bride graduated from Norfolk in 2002 and studied at SCC-Lincoln for Business Administration for Nursing Home. The future groom graduated from Broken Bow in 2001 and studied at SCC-Milford for Building Construction.
